Assistant Property Manager

Collins Property Recruitment is recruiting for an award-winning block management company seeking a proactive and organised Assistant Property Manager to support their Property Managers in the effective management of a residential block portfolio. The role also includes providing general administrative support to the wider business and, over time, managing a small portfolio of blocks or overseeing financial support service clients. Key Responsibilities of Assistant Property Manager: Supporting Block Managers with the day-to-day management of residential blocks, including responding to leaseholder enquiries and maintaining accurate records. Administering building insurance claims and coordinating with insurers, contractors, and stakeholders. Assisting with site inspections, completing follow-up actions, and supporting compliance activities (Health & Safety, Fire Risk, Asbestos). Obtaining and presenting contractor quotations, issuing work orders, and assisting with contract management and re-tenders. Providing general administrative support, including reporting, correspondence, system updates and project/task management. About You: Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Comfortable using block management systems and Microsoft Office. Previous experience in block management or a related administrative role is beneficial but not essential.
