Fixed term, Maternity coverEnsure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Average of30 hours per week worked over 39 weeks a year(term time plus sixadditionalweeks)Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdaybetween 07:30 and 15:30and Friday 07:30-13:00.?Therole:The Lead Nurseis a pivotal and valued role within the team. Alongside the Practice Manager andthe School Doctor, the Lead Nurseisresponsibleforensuring thatthe Medical Centre delivers high quality and comprehensive health care services to theSchooland responds appropriately to medical queries or situations as they arise. The Lead Nurse will lead,manageand motivate members of the nursing team, whilst promoting a caring, confidential and inclusive approach across the community.The skills:This role is a great opportunity if you are NMC registered with significant post-registration experience, and recent line management experience. You will have previous experience in either practice nursing or school nursing and health education, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the physical and mental health of young people.The environment:Harrow School is situatedwithina beautiful site inHarrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world, with around830 boys studyingat Harrow.TheMedical Centreat Harrow Schoolprovides a comprehensive health care service for the boys and employees of theSchool- both teaching and non-teaching staff.
