The role would suit someone with experience of test and repair to component level or an electronics graduate looking for their first opportunity. The role is immediately available on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.The company produce bespoke specialist electromechanical equipment for a range of industries and the role will be a mix of the repair of broken products and building new equipment.Your role as the Electronic Build, Test & Repair Technician will be to:Work to drawings to build and assemble electro mechanical equipment to customer specificationsRework, fault-finding and repair to component levelSelection and soldering of componentsSome electrical assembly and repair of cable insertion systemsMechanical strip down and assemblyFinal test and quality inspection for products beforeAs the Electronic Build, Test & Repair Technician you will:Have confident experience of test and repair to component level or hold a relevant engineering qualification in Electronic engineeringBe able to solder neatly and use a wide range of hand toolsHave the ability to recognise everyday electronic and mechanical components and systemsBe able to repair cable systemsBe able to use basic electronic test equipment including multi-meters and continuity testersBe happy working in a targeted production environmentCall Sally at Travail on 01423 530138 for an immediate interview.Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
