IT and Compliance Manager | HarrogatePlease read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Salary: Up to 40,000We are recruiting on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours, a well-established care charity, who are looking to appoint an IT and Compliance Manager to strengthen digital governance, regulatory compliance and organisational assurance.This is an opportunity to combine IT governance, compliance and automation to improve systems, support operational teams and provide clear oversight across a regulated environment.Based on site: Harrogate (Starbeck), with occasional travelContract: Permanent, Full-timeTHE ROLEAs IT and Compliance Manager, you will take ownership of compliance frameworks, IT governance and digital improvement initiatives across the organisation, working closely with senior leadership and service managers.Key responsibilities include:Leading and maintaining the organisation's integrated compliance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory standardsCoordinating compliance monitoring across departments including care, health & safety and housing servicesProducing board-level reports, dashboards and risk insights, highlighting trends and areas for actionManaging policy frameworks, ensuring documentation is up to date, accessible and audit-readyMaintaining incident and issues logs, supporting investigations and continuous improvementSupporting compliance with CQC, RSH, GDPR and other regulatory requirementsIT & Digital GovernanceActing as the key contact for the Managed Service Provider, monitoring SLAs, performance and security standardsOverseeing cyber security, patching, device management and disaster recovery processesSupporting system resilience and ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus and best practice standardsAutomation & ImprovementDesigning and implementing automation solutions using Microsoft Power PlatformStreamlining manual processes and improving data flow through workflows, integrations and light scriptingSupporting the development of secure, efficient digital systems across the organisationCollaboration & OversightActing as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the organisationWorking with operational managers to ensure high-quality compliance evidence and processesSupporting facilities and housing compliance alongside relevant teamsProviding guidance, training and support on governance and compliance best practiceABOUT YOUYou will have experience in IT governance, compliance or information security, ideally within a regulated environment.Experience with compliance frameworks and governanceStrong understanding of GDPR, Cyber Essentials or similarExperience with Power Automate / Power AppsKnowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python or similar)Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsCertifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP or ISO 27001 are desirable.BENEFITSSalary up to 40,000Pension schemeBlue Light CardHealthcare Cash PlanHealth and wellbeing supportTraining and development opportunitiesSupportive, values-driven environmentIf you are looking for a role where you can combine technology, compliance and real impact, this is a fantastic opportunity to join Harrogate Neighbours and make a difference.Please apply with a full up-to-date CV.Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application.
