Project Manager Structural Steel

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of structural steel projects. You will ensure that all projects are completed to the satisfaction of our clients, achieving business objectives efficiently, on time and within budget, while maintaining compliance with company procedures, industry best practice and statutory legislation. Key Responsibilities Manage project resources, ensuring the right teams and equipment are in place to meet programme requirements. Maintain project schedules, monitor milestones and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders. Liaise with senior management, clients, main contractors and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery. Review, manage and forecast project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and commercial control. Approve variations in scope of work, schedule, or budget, ensuring proper authorisation. Ensure company project management processes are followed, identifying opportunities for improvement. Uphold the highest standards of health & safety across all project activities. Key Skills & Experience Strong communication and leadership skills, with proven ability to manage stakeholders and project teams. Hands-on project management experience within the structural steel industry is essential. In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication, erection and construction processes. Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, or a related discipline. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong commercial awareness with experience in managing budgets and programmes.
