Your voice will be heard, and your ideas will matter.Commitment to Training: Whether you're delivering training or receiving it, we invest in continuous learning and development—ensuring our team stays ahead of legislation and innovation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical Leadership & SupportBe the first point of contact for all internal technical queries—from site supervisors and estimators to surveyors and client-facing teams.Foster a culture of accuracy, clarity, and approachability in all compliance communications.Surveying & Data OversightAssist with product and system specification, from tender stage through to practical completion.Oversee and validate technical documentation including survey reports, specifications, and compliance advice.Quality AssuranceMaintain and audit all third-party certifications and industry accreditations.Lead on site audits, compliance checks, and certification reviews across live and completed projects.Set the standard for workmanship and installation accuracy—especially in relation to fire doors.Internal Training & UpskillingDeliver internal training to surveyors, operatives, and project managers.Ensure staff understand current regulations, system compatibility, and approved installation methods.Product & Installation ValidationReview and approve material specifications to ensure fire resistance, system compatibility, and compliance.Flag potential risks early and offer proactive solutions to mitigate them.Client & Supplier LiaisonAct as a technical representative in meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers.Build trusted relationships by offering clear, practical, and standards-driven advice.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVEProven experience in Passive Fire Protection and fire door complianceHands-on quality assurance experience across live sitesFamiliarity with IFC or BM Trada certification standards and ISO frameworksStrong understanding of building regulations and fire safety guidanceConfidence in both internal leadership and external stakeholder communicationA proactive, approachable mindset with a practical, solutions-focused attitudePreferred Background: Carpentry / Joinery ExperienceWhile this is a senior compliance and technical role, a background in carpentry or joinery, particularly with fire door installation or inspection experience, will be highly regarded. Practical, hands-on understanding of how fire doors and other passive fire systems are constructed and installed gives our ideal candidate a valuable edge in:Training operatives in real-world scenariosReviewing workmanship on-siteValidating installation methods for accuracy and complianceIf you’ve moved from the tools into technical leadership—or if you combine compliance knowledge with deep site experience—this role is designed with you in mind.
