HGV Class 1 driver - Trunking

The Best Connection are recruiting professional and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join a well established company based in Stoke-On-Trent.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.Your day will consist of trunking to other sites based in Gloucester and Rochester, completing collections and deliveries of stillages with no handball involved.Shift details: Start time is 6pm Monday to Friday Overtime opportunities available- after 8 hours pay increases from 16 to 24 Weekly shift allowance of 89.90 You will be responsible for:- carrying out safe and efficient trunk runs- completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining paperwork- communicating professionally with transport teams and site staff- ensuring compliance with all road transport and working time regulations What we're offering: A temporary to permanent opportunity with a trusted local employer Excellent hourly rates and overtime pay after 8 hours Monday to Friday work- no weekends required xjdpvnf Requirements:- Full UK Class 1 Licence (CE)- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph- Previous Trunking or general haulage experience preferred- A positive attitude and strong work ethic The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
