Adults, Learning Disabilities, Autism, some behaviours that challenge Salary: 13.10 per hour (27,248 per annum) Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S12, S8 We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join a Supported Living service in Sheffield, providing high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and associated needs.About the ServiceThe service delivers consistent, structured and proactive support within individuals' own homes. Support is tailored to each person, focusing on wellbeing, independence, confidence and choice. Individuals are actively encouraged to engage in meaningful activities, develop life skills and have a strong voice in decisions that affect their lives.Support is delivered holistically, with care plans built around the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Collaboration, respect, empowerment and compassion are at the heart of the service.The RoleAs Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading and developing the staff team while ensuring individuals receive safe, empowering and outcome-focused support.Key responsibilities include:Leading, supervising and developing a team of support staffPromoting individuals' wellbeing, safety and quality of lifeSupporting the delivery of individual and group activities aligned to agreed outcomesMonitoring progress against care plans and wellbeing goalsLiaising effectively with families, professionals and external agenciesEnsuring compliance with policies, procedures, legislation and quality standardsCompleting and reviewing internal quality and compliance systemsParticipating in the on-call rotaAbout YouThe most important qualities for this role are kindness, honesty, respect and strong listening skills, alongside the ability to lead by example.You will have:Experience supporting adults with learning disabilitiesA minimum Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health xjdpvnf & Social Care (or working towards)At least 6 months' experience in a Team Leader roleStrong people-management and motivational skillsA full UK driving licenceWhat's on OfferA stable and rewarding role within a supportive organisationOngoing training and development, including funded qualificationsA positive, inclusive workplace cultureWellbeing support and employee benefitsRefer-a-friend rewardsAccess to financial wellbeing toolsIf you're passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and want to make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you#LEEJP
