Job Description Individual Giving Fundraiser - Legacies & In MemorySalary: 31,000 per annum pro rataContract: Temporary, up to one month (with potential to extend)Location: Shooting Star House, Hampton (Office-based)Hours: Part Time, 3 days per weekStart Date: ASAPMerrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a much-loved children's hospice charity based in Hampton, who are seeking an experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to join their fundraising team on a temporary basis.The RoleThis is a varied and deeply meaningful role, supporting the delivery of the charity's individual giving programme across its legacy and in memory income streams. The right candidate will be able to hit the ground running, bringing both technical fundraising knowledge and a genuinely sensitive approach to supporter and family relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the delivery of legacy and in memory fundraising programmesLegacy administration including communication with solicitors and personal executorsRelationship management with supported families who wish to fundraiseDonor stewardship and contribution to integrated supporter journey developmentMaximising gift aid opportunities across individual giving activityAccurate data capture and recording on Raiser's Edge NXTContributing to campaign tracking, reporting and evaluationWhat You NeedDemonstrable experience in individual giving, legacy or in memory fundraisingA sensitive and considered approach to supporter and family relationshipsStrong data management skills and experience of CRM databasesThe ability to work independently and manage a varied workload with minimal supervisionFor more information or to apply, please contact Akash Mahmud at Merrifield Consultants.We practise a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that ensures equal opportunity for all we work with, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender.
