You will demonstrate excellent computer skills and have the ability to organise your workload effectively. Ideally, you will have experience in environmental health duties or sampling activities related to food or the environment.Duties will involve implementing food and environmental sampling programmes, conducting non-official control visits, implementing intervention strategies in food businesses, assisting with infectious disease notifications, handling complaints, preparing reports, and providing professional advice.This role requires meeting strict deadlines and adjusting start times to meet sample collection schedules. The successful applicant must be able to travel throughout South Lanarkshire.Applicants must hold an appropriate Environmental Health Degree (BSc or MSc) or be willing to undertake the MSc in Environmental Health with Professional Practice to qualify as an Environmental Health Officer.
