Hours:35 hours per week Salary:£28,340 - £28,742 per year Vacancy:Permanent View theCommunications Assistant (Digital) job profile An exciting opportunity has arisen within South Lanarkshire Council’s Chief Executive’s Office within the Communications and Strategy service, and we are seeking to recruit a Communications Assistant (Digital). You will be involved in the effective day-to-day processing of communications jobs using established processes and systems within the digital team. You will also work with social media channels and be involved in processing content for the council’s website and intranet. You will play a key role in supporting and developing the Council’s Communication and Strategy campaigns and projects to deliver key council messages. You should demonstrate excellent written, communication, planning, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to protect the council’s reputation, apply policies, and manage your workload to meet deadlines. You should have excellent IT skills, a good understanding of social media platforms and digital functions, be dynamic and creative, and able to resolve problems as they arise. Contribution to process and system development is also expected. Flexibility in approach is required to meet the Communications and Strategies needs.
