As a Junior Buyer, you will be assisting in the day-to-day running of the purchasing department, ensure excellent service is delivered to our external and internal stakeholders. This is is a office based, Monday-Friday position working 8am-4:30pm. This role comes with great career progression with the idea of the role to develop into a fully fledged senior buyer within 18 months. There is excellent training and a friendly working environment. Key Responsibilities Liaise with suppliers to place purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods. Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maintain quality. Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock requirements, and ensure optimal stock availability. Conduct research on new suppliers, materials, and industry trends to support purchasing decisions. Maintain accurate purchasing records, update procurement databases, and generate reports for senior buyers. Key Requirements IT Literate Practical working knowledge of MRP/ERP, day to day experience demonstratable. Purchasing experience Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) desired Excellent communication skills.
