If youre driven to support children to succeed academically, socially and emotionally, this role is for you.About the RoleAs an SEMH Teacher, youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, inclusive education as part of our strong One Team ethos. Youll work collaboratively with colleagues across education, care and therapy, ensuring a consistent and joined-up approach to every childs learning and development.Youll plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons aligned to the relevant key stage and accreditation pathways, always tailored to meet individual needs. By working in a trans-disciplinary way, youll seamlessly integrate academic learning with emotional regulation, behaviour support and social developmenthelping pupils re-engage with education and rediscover their potential.Key Responsibilities:Contribute fully to the One Team approach, delivering consistent, high-quality education and care for pupils with SEMH needsPlan, prepare and deliver a differentiated curriculum aligned to key stage and subject areasIntegrate academic learning with social, emotional and behavioural development in line with individual learning plansProactively remove barriers to learning, enabling all pupils to participate and succeedDeliver short-, medium- and long-term learning programmes that meet accreditation requirements and individual SEN profilesCreate stimulating, purposeful learning environments that encourage curiosity, engagement and achievementUse creative teaching strategies, high-quality resources and meaningful displays to promote active learningEnsure all pupils make strong progress in line with their abilities, needs and potentialWhat We're Looking For:Were seeking someone who is:A creative, reflective and nurturing practitioner with a pupil-centred approachConfident, resilient and calm in supporting pupils with SEMH needsA strong team player who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environmentReady to lead, innovate and make a genuine, long-term impactEssential QualificationsQualified Teacher Status (QTS)Full UK Driving LicenceAbout usBramfield House School is an independent special educational needs school for boys aged 7 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk.
