CNC Machinist

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in their leading facility in Halesowen. Our client is hiring for 2 Machinists - 1 CNC Programmer (Miller) & 1 CNC Programmer (Turning) but it would be highly advantageous if you have Programmed/worked on both Milling & Turning machinery. For the successful CNC Machinist our client is offering: Hourly rate of between - 15 - 20 per hour - This completely depends on experience / Programming level. 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday Permanent position Free Parking Overtime opportunities are available The role - CNC Machinist: Programming, Setting & Operating CNC Milling / Turning machines Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines. Develop and write programs for CNC Machines using CAD and Fusion software CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work Machining of a variety of materials Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times Online & Offline programming Working to different tolerances Working from engineering drawings Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment Machining own JIGS and fixtures What our client is looking for in a CNC Machinist; Experienced with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls Experience machining various materials Experience working with 3 & 5 Axis machinery Methodical approach to work Able to work on a variety of projects Our client is ideally looking for someone who can do both Milling & Turning Key skills or similar Job titles: CNC Setter/Programmer/Programmed/Programming/Heidenhain/3 Axis/5 Axis/Milling/CNC Machinist/CNC Milling Commutable From: Halesowen, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Dudley, West Bromwich, Worcester For further information about this and other positions please apply now.
