As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and ambitious Production Planner to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose The Production Planner will work closely with the operations team to ensure the efficient and timely production of malt-based products. The role will involve planning and scheduling production activities, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that production targets are met. The role-holder will be part of a passionate and innovative team in a growing business. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Coordination: Work closely with the operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment of production activities with business goals. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving production processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency. Reporting: Prepare and maintain records of production activities and performance metrics. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the production team and other departments to contribute to the overall success of the business. Qualifications and Experience Essential: A degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and/or Prior experience in a production planning role and/or Experience with Microsoft Business Central and ERP planning. Desirable: Experience in the food and beverage industry. A qualification in supply chain management. Skills, Competencies and Motivation A strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles.
