This role will be focused on the effective programming of CNC Milling machines with Mazatrol & Fanuc controls, as well as setting and operating the machinery.CNC MillerMain ResponsibilitiesComplete all setups and efficiently run moderate to very complex parts on CNC machines following detailed setup instructions.Consistently demonstrate the ability to meet critical engineering specifications as shown on engineering prints.Capable of interpreting complex engineering drawings.Demonstrate the ability to identify processes improvements and incorporate necessary changesMust be able to operate multiple machines when requiredTo check components in process to ensure they are correct.To report any issues with routing/guidelines to the engineering department.Communicate with Management, staff and machinists for shift change over and process requirements.To alert management at the earliest stage if any problems arise.Maintain ongoing department operations, carry out first off inspections where required.Follow all Company processes and procedures.Ensure the highest levels of Quality are maintained on parts coming off your machine.Perform daily routine maintenance checks on machines (I.E., grease, oil, coolant, filters).Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all PPE and EHS requirements.Mentor apprentices where applicableCNC MillerThe CandidateMinimum of 5+ years experience programming, setting up and operating CNC Mazak machines, machining various types of materials.Problem solving skillsMust be able to read and understand machine programs.Display strong communication skills and be capable of working from verbal and/or written instructions with minimum supervision.CNC MillerBenefits264 hours holiday per year (including bank holidays)Contributory pension schemeDiscretionary annual bonus schemeLife AssuranceOn-site parkingMedical cash health planAccess to Employee Assistance ProgramINDABTPBN1_UKTJ
