Workday Financials Consultant

The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a leading partner to support the recruitment of a Senior Workday Financials Consultant on a permanent basis. (Remote working available)About this Role:We are currently looking to expand our financials consulting team with self-motivated applicants. Applicants for this role should be comfortable working in a team environment and dealing with client business teams. Financial consultants will be an integral part of Workday deployments and will work to solve complex problems for our customers while providing industry and Workday best practices. Areas of expertise should include record to report, procure to pay, or order to cash.Duties and Responsibilities:Understand Workday methodology and deliver financial workstreams within scope and timeline of the projectEducate both client and our internal junior resources on effective approaches to utilizing and managing Workday financials functionalityLeverage Workday and industry best practice knowledge to deliver Workday productManage design sessions with customer to extract design needs and translate into Workday functionalityDocument design decisions and maintain library of design needsProvide technical and analytical guidance for the Workday financials workstreamsExperience Required:Significant relevant experience in financials workstreams including FDM, record to report and order to cashExperience in Tax, Security and Assets would be beneficialAbility to lead Workday financials implementationsStrong experience in mentoring junior resourcesWorkday certifications (Active)Prior consulting or industry experience requiredProficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applicationsStrong presentation and interpersonal skillsIf you would like to find out more, please apply in the first instance.We are an equal opportunities Recruitment Business and Agency.
