Senior Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Surrey/Sussex areaAre you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentThe RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy and fast-growing motor vehicle repair and MOT centre group. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with experience across a wide range of vehicles. An MOT licence is desirable but not essential.You will be working in a modern workshop environment, carrying out high-quality diagnostic, service, and repair work to industry standards while contributing to a positive and professional team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faultsCarry out servicing, diagnostic, and repair work as directedInspect vehicles for wear, damage, and general faultsComplete all work to DVSA standardsConduct MOT inspections where qualified (desirable)Work independently while also contributing effectively within a teamDeliver excellent customer service and uphold best-practice workshop standardsSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum 5 years' experience as a vehicle technicianStrong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilityConfident using diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and electronic testing toolsGood knowledge of electrical and electronic vehicle systemsExperience working across a variety of vehicle makes and modelsIT literateStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood xjdpvnf communication skillsFull UK driving licenceQualificationsRelevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 minimum; Level 4 desirable but not essential)What's on OfferMonday to Friday working only20 days annual leave + bank holidaysAdditional holiday entitlement after 5 years' service (up to 25 days)Workplace pension schemeOngoing training and development providedTeam bonding and social activities
