Production Manager

Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in Pharmaceuticals, looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work for a leading specialist manufacturer?A manufacturer of sterile pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a Production Manager to join the team at their site near Guildford. Prior management experience in a cGMP environment is essential, ideally within sterile pharmaceutical manufacture. Role OverviewPerm, Full Time role (7AM -3PM) - Production is operational 24 hours a day so some work outside of these hours may be required. Salary 50-60k DOE.Management of the Production Department, including line management of Production Supervisors and Chemists.Operational management to facilitate production, validation and maintenance requirements of the department.RequirementsEducated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience in Pharmaceutical ProductionPrevious Managerial experience in a similar environment.A Strong understanding of relevant regulations, particularly cGMP & relevant safety standardsExperience implementing LEAN or similar efficiency and productivity principles is highly beneficial.
