The Role We are seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher with a specialism in Science to join our dedicated team. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated science lessons that inspire curiosity and foster achievement for pupils with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties). This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who wants to make a tangible difference in young peoples lives while developing their expertise in SEN provision. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver creative, accessible Science lessons to meet individual needs. Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure inclusion and engagement for all learners. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals. Track progress through formative and summative assessment. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence. Contribute to whole-school initiatives supporting inclusion and wellbeing. About You We are looking for someone who is: A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Experienced in teaching pupils with additional or complex needs. Knowledgeable and passionate about Science education. Skilled at differentiation, communication, and behaviour management. Patient, empathetic, and committed to every childs success. Experience in a special school or alternative provision setting is desirable, but not essential enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
