So, whether its already in place or just around the corner, nows the perfect time to join#teamOFG!About the RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, inclusive education for students with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. Working within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, promote positive development, and help students make meaningful academic, social, and emotional progress.You will:Plan and deliver high-quality teaching to individuals and small groups in line with the school curriculumMonitor, assess, record, and report on student progress and outcomesDesign and implement individual education, behaviour, and support plans in collaboration with colleaguesCreate a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning environmentCoordinate teaching, assessment, and reporting across agreed subjects and key stagesPromote students physical, educational, social, and moral developmentSupport students with challenging behaviour to develop self-regulation and independenceWork collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, tutors, and care staff to ensure consistent, high-quality supportContribute to school development priorities and continuous improvementAbout YouYou will be:Qualified: UK QTS or equivalent, with a relevant degreeExperienced: Skilled in supporting students with SEN, autism (ASC), learning difficulties, and complex needsCompassionate & Resilient: Able to build trusting relationships with pupils who have faced significant challengesCollaborative: A clear communicator who thrives in a team environmentCreative & Flexible: Able to adapt and innovate to meet individual needsIf you are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people and want to be part of a forward-thinking, supportive school environment, please apply today.About UsThe Grange Therapeutic School is an independent school in Leicestershire for pupils aged 818 with social, emotional, and mental health needs or autism.
