SHEQ AdvisorLocation: North WestSalary: 45,000 - 50,000 + company vehicle + benefits Were supporting a well-established construction and infrastructure contractor in the appointment of a SHEQ Advisor to support and drive high standards of safety, health, environmental and quality performance across multiple sites and offices in the North West.This is a hands-on, site-focused role offering the opportunity to influence culture, improve systems and work closely with operational teams to deliver safe, compliant and right-first-time outcomes. Youll play a key role in the delivery and continual improvement of the organisations SHEQ strategy and management systems.Key Responsibilities:Undertake regular site inspections and audits across all business streamsReview working practices and provide constructive, practical feedback to operational teamsCoach and mentor site teams to embed positive SHEQ behavioursProduce clear inspection, audit and incident reports with trend analysis and recommendationsMonitor SHEQ KPIs, supporting dashboards and performance reportingSupport rollout of SHEQ standards, procedures and improvement initiativesWork with subcontractors and supply chain partners to maintain SHEQ standardsMaintain management systems and accreditations (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)What were looking for:1-3 years experience in a SHEQ Advisor roleConfident communicator, able to influence at all levelsStrong understanding of SHEQ legislation and industry standardsExperienced in inspections, audits, incident investigation and action close-outData-led mindset with the ability to analyse trends and performanceFull UK driving licence and medically fit for site work
