Job Description Role: Commercial Executive - Food ManufacturerSalary: CompetitiveHours: 40 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday to Friday (usually 8am-4pm, some flexibility may be required)Contract: PermanentInspired Global Cuisine (IGC)Inspired Global Cuisine are a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Gorton, East Manchester. We are an ambitious company who have grown significantly over the last 2 years, now producing over 1million meals a week and have plans to continue to grow. Youll work cross functionally and collaboratively, always strive to be the best and even have some fun along the way.About the roleThe Commercial Executive will support the Commercial Account Manager in delivering the customer agenda. Providing support with internal and customer teams, completing administrative tasks, undertaking instore information gathering. They will also generate sales and marketing reports and presentations and conduct analysis of market and internal data. As experience grows the aim will be to take over day to day responsibility for new customers.Responsibilities include:Take ownership of the internal sales reporting, highlighting risks and opportunitiesSupport on internal forecasting; aligning commercial plans with supply chain and NPDManage any preexisting commercial agreements/invoices. Be responsible for raising invoices and tracking against agreed targetsSupport the NPD team by generating New Line Forms, aligning forecasts for new products and managing raw material riskSupport administration and information requirements during NPD processSupport the Account Manager & NPD team with presentations and meetingsInvolved in day-to-day account management e.g. price queries, supply chain / availability issues & ad hoc enquiriesAttend various product meetings at Iceland HQ e.g. Ice Checks and Attribute PanelsNew BusinessSupport with presentations (creation and delivery) and data collation for New Business opportunities.Become the point of contact for admin requirements as we on board new customersKeep up to date on market trends such as emerging grocery brands or high street businessesMarketing, Analysis and Reporting:Conduct market research using tools such as Vyper, compile and analyse data generated from instore and online visitsBe the key expert in Kantar data generating reports and presentations for internal and external usageStay updated on industry developments and macro customer changesSkills & ExperienceExcellent communication, and interpersonal skills that can build co-operative relationships.Customer facing experienceAnalytical mindset and excellent organisational skills.Highly motivated, enthusiastic and positive with a confident and professional undertaking.Proficient in presentation skills, excel and the ability to adapt and learn internal systems.Creative mind set with innovative ways of working support the promotion of the business, including social media.Essential:Minimum 1 years of sales experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.Desirable:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Our benefits package includes:25 days holiday, plus 8 days bank holiday and opportunity to purchase an additional weekRestaurant and retailer discountsHealthcare cash planEnhanced maternity/paternity leaveEmployee assistance programme GroceryAidLong service awardsReward & recognition
