Job Description Technical Business AnalystNorth West England (Remote first - 1 day per month on-site)Up to 70,000 + bonusWe are working with a growing UK-based financial services organisation that is investing heavily in its internal technology platforms. They are bringing their tech team inhouse over the next 12-18 months and are focusing on modernising traditional processes and scaling their systems for external use.You will act as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, well-defined, and effectively implemented. This role involves continuous collaboration with developers, rather than a traditional handover style of analysis.What you'll do as their Technical Business Analyst:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document detailed business and technical requirementsAct as a bridge between business users, developers, and QA teamsWork closely with engineering teams throughout the full SDLC within an Agile EnvironmentAnalyse and interpret APIs, including reviewing documentation and validating integrationsSupport API testing activities using appropriate tools and methodologiesWrite clear, structured documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flowsUse SQL to query databases, validate data, and support analysis and troubleshootingThis is an individual contributor role (no line management responsibilities)Key Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a software delivery environmentSolid experience working with APIs (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON)Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validationAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with Confluence and JIRA is desirableExperience in financial services is advantageous but not essentialSalary up to 70K + discretionary performance based Bonus of up to 25%, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Birthday off, Private health care, Pension scheme + much more!If this sounds like your next role, apply today!
