Job Description Senior Textiles Designer OverviewAn amazing opportunity has come up for a Senior Textiles Designer to join a hugely successful homewares company, working across woven products.The Senior Textiles Designer will design ranges of prints and graphics as well as woven products for market leading high street customers. The Senior Textiles Designer must have a flair for trends and be highly creative, with a commercial handwriting. Senior Textiles Designer Responsibilities;Lead the design process from initial concept through to final delivery, including hands-on design work and overseeing sampling Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams Support the development of seasonal concepts, trend direction, and product ranges Manage design workflows, presentations, and critical timelines Assist in delivering business growth initiatives, key projects, and team objectives Play a role in sustainability efforts and innovation within design Provide guidance and support to junior members of the design team Represent the company at trade shows, supplier visits, and client meetings Opportunity to take on line management responsibilities as the role developsDesired Skills/AttributesStrong leadership and organisational capabilities Solid understanding of homeware and textile design processes High standard of design development and presentation skills Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Ability to produce hand-drawn or hand-painted artwork is beneficial Familiarity with AI design tools is an advantage Strong commercial awareness alongside a good design eye Experience managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities Adaptable, flexible, and a collaborative team player Self-motivated with a proactive approach Ambitious with a desire to grow and progress Comfortable using data to inform design decisions Willingness to travel internationally when required
