Job Description Associate Electrical Design Engineer Data CentresLocation: London (hybrid working)Salary: Up to 85,000 + bonus and benefitsAbout the RoleOur confidential client is a leading international M&E consultancy driving innovative, lowcarbon solutions in the datacentre sector. They are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Design Engineer to take ownership of major datacentre projects from concept through delivery. Youll lead technical design, mentor engineers, and shape missioncritical infrastructure for sustainability-focused clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the electrical design and coordination of major datacentre projects. Manage project teams, including mentoring, performance oversight, and QA/QC.Prepare feasibility studies, cost and profit forecasts, and fee bids. Oversee technical reporting, client presentations, and stakeholder workshops. Ensure all designs comply with UK regulations, industry codes, and carbonreduction strategies.Specify control systems, carry out site surveys/tests, and liaise with contractors. What Were Looking ForBEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Chartered Engineer status (MCIBSE, MIET, CEng) or working towards it. Proven track record in electrical design for datacentre or missioncritical infrastructure.Strong leadership, mentoring, presentation, and clientfacing skills. Proficient in electrical design software, MS Office, and UK technical standards.Right to work in the UKno visa sponsorship available.
