Our editorial and multimedia team produces the latest news, in-depth features, special reports, and exclusive interviews, with supporting contributions from a network of carefully curated external partners and prominent industry figures.The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Production Assistant to join our in-house Editorial Team. This role supports the editorial production workflow to final publication, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of content across a variety of digital formats.The ideal candidate will be a strong multitasker with a keen eye for detail, a basic understanding of editorial standards, and an interest in sports media or publishing.This role offers potential career development into editorial, production management, or content strategy positions, with exposure to multiple stages of the publishing process and opportunities for professional training.Key ResponsibilitiesEditorial Support:Assist editors and reporters in coordinating article production workflowsProofread, fact-check, and perform light copyediting under supervisionMaintain editorial style guides and ensure consistent formatting and house styleProduction Coordination:Manage production schedules and maintain editorial calendarsLiaise with writers, editors, designers, and external clients to manage production workflowsAssist in preparing article layouts and sourcing imagery and other assetsContent Management:Upload and manage digital content in CMS platformsEnsure correct tagging, formatting, and SEO optimisation where applicableHelp manage and maintain our premium media subscription product, SportsPro+Administrative Duties:Schedule meetings, take minutes, and manage editorial documentationSupport project management tools and reporting systemsProject research and information gatheringAbout YouThis role is the perfect fit if you are looking to gain wide exposure across all facets of sports media content as you take the next step in your career.
