Senior IP Counsel

Job DescriptionA luxury retail company is on the lookout for a Senior IP Counsel to join their dynamic legal team on a permanent basis.Based in North West London, this role offers hybrid working and the chance to make a real impact across UK and international IP portfolios.The role: Leading on a broad range of intellectual property matters, both contentious and non-contentiousManaging and protecting a strong brand portfolio across multiple jurisdictionsHandling the filing, prosecution, and enforcement of trademark applications globallyAdvising on IP strategy, licensing, design rights, and infringement issuesDrafting and negotiating a wide range of IP-related commercial agreements, including IP assignments, agency contracts, and talent agreementsCollaborating closely with marketing, product, and commercial teams to support innovation and brand developmentWorking with external counsel to navigate complex global IP landscapesIdeal Candidate: A qualified solicitor (UK or equivalent) with strong experience in IP law, ideally with 8 years PQE + gained in-house and/or in private practiceHands-on experience with trademark portfolio management, including filing and prosecutionA commercially minded advisor who can balance legal risk with business objectivesSkilled at managing a busy, fast-moving workload and engaging with senior stakeholdersA background in cosmetics, retail, fashion, or consumer brands is very desirableTo register an interest, please send through your updated CV to [email protected] note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
