Right now, we are looking for a Employment Specialist to play a pivotal role in ourEmployment Services in Redbridge.nSounds great, what will I be doing?nWe are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual to support clients with mental health conditions in achieving sustainable employment. You will manage a dynamic caseload, delivering tailored coaching, job search support, and workplace retention strategies in line with IPS fidelity. Strong employer engagement skills are essential to build partnerships and create inclusive job opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with clinical teams to integrate employment and mental health support, as well as accurate record-keeping and compliance with service standards. A commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement is key, along with a passion for supporting disadvantaged communities into meaningful work.nWhat do I need to bring with me?nYou'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.nHere's what the team will be looking fornThe ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions in securing, returning to, or retaining mainstream employment. They should have a strong understanding of employment models such as IPS (Individual Placement and Support) and be committed to employment retention and IPS fidelity. Experience in health or social care settings is essential.nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to engage clients and build effective relationships with stakeholders and partners. The candidate should be confident in presenting services, promoting client solutions, and managing time effectively in a results-driven environment.nA solid understanding of relevant policies, including Health & Safety, Data Protection, Equality & Diversity, and the Equality Act 2010, is essential. They must be open to feedback and professional development, and able to travel across the designated borough.nThe candidate should be person-centred, empathetic, and committed to equality.
