CC Young provides comprehensive accountancy and taxation services, always with a commitment to the creative community we serve.JOB TITLE: Project Accountant DEPARTMENT: Touring We are seeking a qualified Accountant with hands-on experience in the live music or touring industry to join our Touring team in a specialist role supporting financial activity across client tours.The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to review, analyse and verify financial data related to live events.This role requires a strong commercial eye, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to ask the right questions in a fast-paced environment.Who you are You will have a passion for all things Accountancy with a particularly keen interest in the Music industry.Youll be already working in a similar role and looking for more opportunities to develop your accountancy skills and learn in a fast-paced environment.This role is a unique opportunity to combine financial expertise with a deep understanding of Touring and Live Music, supporting some of the most exciting talent today.Client Work:To prepare management and year end accounts for Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, partnerships and sole traders.To include where required budget versus actual tour results and management commission calculationsProject work: To prepare and support financial oversight across live events;Review and analyse pre and post-show financial information;Monitor and report on financial performance and discrepancies across live shows;Collaborate with the wider Touring team to enhance commercial outcomesTo attend and review show settlementsSkills, Knowledge Experience, Attitudes and Behaviours: Qualifications and Experience Required Qualified ACCA/ACA or significant relevant experienceExperience of Touring and Live Music events3 years plus working in a similar environmentAttitudes and Behaviours RequiredGood working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production Software or similarGood working knowledge of Sage Line 50 / Xero Software or similar;Ability to produce Accounts Working Papers to high standard;Ability to exercise judgement and consideration in respect of presentation of financial information;Good interpersonal skills.
