Healthcare Assistant

Are you a seasoned Health Care Assistant with experience in a Care Home environment in the Norwich. We are Currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a Care/Residential Home. Your primary focus will be to assist individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Help with mobility and physical activities as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the care setting. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes as needed. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare is vital for this role. (Min 3 months) Familiarity with care plans and home care practices is required. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations. Strong command of the English language is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
