Forklift Driver Warehouse Operative

Job Purpose: To support daily yard operations through safe and efficient forklift use, preparation of equipment, and general maintenance tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely and high-quality fulfilment of customer requirements while upholding company health, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: Prioritise daily work activities in line with instructions from the Operations or Service Manager. Attend daily morning meetings with the Operations Manager to plan and coordinate workload. Support the implementation and continual improvement of the companys safety, quality, and environmental management systems. Assist with general yard operations as required by the Operations Manager. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, including company HSEQ Policies, Procedures, and Risk Assessments. Prepare CCUs, transportable chemical tanks, and Helifuel tanks for dispatch. Prepare tanks and units for Proof Load Testing, MPI, and third-party inspections. Perform minor maintenance and repairs to CCUs and tanks under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Maintain cleanliness and general order across the yard, including care of all plant, tools, and equipment. Support the wash bay operations to maintain a stock of clean tanks ready for customer use. Load and unload third-party transport using a forklift truck in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain rigorous safety, environmental, and quality standards across all tasks. Undertake ad hoc duties as instructed by the Operations Manager. Skills & Experience: Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Previous experience working in a yard or industrial setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently. Proficient in both written and spoken English and local language (if applicable). Qualifications: Required: Valid B2 category Forklift Licence Preferred: Working at Height Certification TPBN1_UKTJ
