Job Description Senior Test & Diagnostics EngineerLocation: Great YarmouthSalary: Up to 55,000Relocation support up to 8,000The OpportunityAn opportunity to join a high reliability electronics environment supporting the test, verification, and improvement of complex electronic products used in critical applications.This role combines hands-on electronics test and fault finding with test system development and production support. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet strict performance, quality, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Design and maintain electronic test systems and diagnostic solutionsConvert customer and internal specifications into practical test solutionsProgram and support production test systemsDiagnose faults on products and test equipment down to component levelProvide hands-on support to production during technical issuesWork with engineering and manufacturing to resolve product and test challengesSupport and mentor technicians and junior engineersMaintain technical documentation for test and repair processesIdentify and implement process and efficiency improvementsEnsure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirementsEssential Requirements:HND or Degree in Electrical or Electronic EngineeringExperience in electronic test, production, or manufacturing engineeringStrong electronic fault finding and diagnostic skillsExperience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and similar test equipmentExperience working in a manufacturing or production environmentUnderstanding of calibration and quality control processesDesirable ExperienceAutomated Test Equipment (ATE)Python or C# programmingPCB design or layout tools such as AltiumSecurity Requirements:Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance.This requires holding a British passport.
