A popular American-themed restaurant in Ormesby St Margaret is looking to recruit an experienced chef.They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced chef to join their kitchen team.This is a full time position with a restaurant that is open throughout the year. Shifts will include evenings and weekends in a very busy restaurant kitchen.Responsibilities will include:- Preparing a variety of dishes from the menu- Maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen- Ordering stock and taking deliveries; ensuring that ingredients are stored at the correct temperature- Ensuring that meals are prepared in a timely manner with correct portionsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and popular family-run business with an excellent reputation.To be considered for this position, you must:- Have at least 12 months experience as a chef- Communicate well and be able to multi-task- Have a good awareness of food safety and hygiene standards- Ideally have grill experienceRelocators are welcome to apply and accommodation can be provided at a favourable rate.
