Job Description Job Title: Conveyancing SolicitorLocation: Great Dunmow (Hybrid 3 days office based, 2 days remote)Job Type: Full Time, PermanentSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience to join our established and growing residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and technically strong solicitor who can manage their own caseload independently while contributing to the wider success of the firm.The role offers a hybrid working pattern, with three days per week in our Great Dunmow office and two days working remotely.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a full and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completionHandling freehold and leasehold sales and purchasesDealing with re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new build transactions, and shared ownership mattersReviewing and drafting contracts and legal documentationLiaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third partiesProviding clear, practical legal advice and maintaining strong client relationshipsEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal proceduresSupporting junior team members where appropriateCandidate RequirementsEssential:Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)Minimum 5+ years experience in residential conveyancingProven ability to manage a busy caseload independentlyStrong technical knowledge of property law and Land Registry proceduresPersonal AttributesProfessional and commercially awareProactive and solution-focusedApproachable and client-centricStrong time management skillsAble to work effectively in a hybrid environmentWhat We OfferPrivate Health Care Competitive salary (DOE)Hybrid working arrangementSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for professional development and career progressionGenerous holiday entitlementPension scheme
