White Raven Resourcing Ltd are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to permanent placements. Our client is the largest precast manufacturer in the UK and are looking for Maintenance Fitters (Mechanical & Electrical) to join their team. The successful candidate will be expected to: Diagnose and fix problems with manufacturing machines and mechanical parts Work with machine operatives for machine set ups and change overs Complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly machine servicing Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous Test and inspect electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of systems (Electrical Maintenance Fitter) Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company. Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support departmental or company objectives Ensure compliance with the Companys policies including Health & Safety are complied with Observe and comply with all good working practices. Requirements Essential Criteria: Appropriate city & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification (Essential for Electrical) Adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel packages Methodical approach to solving queries Good time management skills Ability to work on own initiative, but understand level of responsibility within the team Excellent communication skills Ability to interact with a wide range of people Ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently Be highly motivated Valid driving licence Desirable Criteria: A background in batching plants and overhead cranes would be an advantage Benefits In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with: Competitive rates of pay (40,000 - 50,000 per year) Attractive bonus payments and over time payments Job security Extensive training Flexible holidays Career progression opportunities TPBN1_UKTJ
