Vehicle Mechanic (No Experience Needed)Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.The Army - United KingdomFrom 26,334 a yearKeep us on track.As a full-time, entry-level Vehicle Mechanic in the British Army, youll:Keep the Army's vehicles available in barracks and on operationsService and maintain all vehicle types from Tanks to HGVsConduct preventative maintenanceWork in line with Army policy on vehicle maintenance and Health and Safety guidelinesAssist in roadworthiness testing of all Army vehiclesTo qualify, you must be between 16 years 6 months and 35 years 6 months, pass a basic fitness test, and have GCSEs grade A-D/9-3 in at least English Language, Maths and Science.Set yourself up for life.During your initial training, youll earn 18,687, after which your salary will rise to 23,496. If you set your mind to it, you could reach Corporal within 5 years, earning 33,065.Youll also receive 38 days annual leave every year (plus bank holidays and extra leave after operations), free medical and dental care, cheaper living costs, and free gym and sports facilities.
