Full-Time | Permanent | 26,000 per annum About the Role I am seeking an experienced and professional Legal Secretary / Assistant to join a well-established and friendly high street law firm in Gosport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and previous legal secretarial experience to support the Family Law department, providing high-quality assistance to solicitors and fee earners. While experience within Family Law is preferred, experience in another area would be considered. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Senior Executives within Family Law. Prepare and format legal correspondence, documents, and forms with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, maintaining a professional and friendly approach. Organise diaries, arrange appointments, and liaise with clients and third parties. Handle file management, including opening, updating, and archiving client files. Manage billing processes, draft invoices, and assist with file closing. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and firm procedures at all times. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant is essential. Experience within Family Law is desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
