Job description Job Title: Transport Manager Location: GOOLE Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee our transport operations. You will be responsible for managing drivers, vehicles, and compliance to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day transport operations and driver schedules. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance. Monitor fleet performance and implement cost-saving measures. Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues. Maintain accurate records and produce operational reports. Lead and motivate the transport team to achieve KPIs. Requirements: Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficient in transport management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
