Job Description About usTechnikraft design, develop and manufacture formulations for the automotive, cycling, cleaning and speciality chemical industries. From concept to finished product, we work with brands and distributors to launch products lead by sustainable performance.The roleWe are looking to hire a detail focussed person to join our technical team. This role primarily involves testing the products made against their specification, and making any adjustments required.This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the team that guarantee the quality of the products we supply to our customers.We are open to candidates with prior experience, or those looking to start a career in a manufacturing-based laboratory.The successful candidate will also produce lab-scale samples of a wide variety of products, to support the sales process. Good communication skills, organisation and record keeping are a must.Responsibilities and DutiesFollowing QC procedures to test production samplesMaking adjustments to production blends that do not meet QC specificationOrganise and carry out product testing e.g. performance, stability, compatibility, competitor analysisReview alternative raw materials for use in productionData entry of QC results to the computer systemPrepare and despatch samples to the customerGeneral upkeep and tidiness of the labCalibrating test equipment according to proceduresSupport investigations into non-conforming materialsMaking and sending product samplesAssist R&D with samplingProduct QC checks at filling stagePreparation of bacteria testingAssist with customer feedback from samplesAssist sales with product queriesQualifications and SkillsGood CommunicationComputer literacyBackground in chemistry preferred, but not essentialPlease note this role is ON SITE 5 days per week. It CAN NOT be done remotely.Salary C25 to 28k depending on experience 37.5 hours each week.
