This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent annual salary , shift allowance , and genuine potential for career growth within a supportive and professional production environment.Hours of Work 37 hours per week plus overtime, working rotational shifts:6:00am 2:00pm2:00pm 10:00pmSalary 31,173 per annum plus 7.5% rotational shift allowance (total package 33,510)Why Work With This Client?Excellent salary and shift allowanceOvertime opportunities availableFull training and career development providedOpportunity to gain additional qualifications (Forklift, IPAF, First Aid, Fire Warden, etc.)Career progression within a growing manufacturing environmentSupportive and safety-focused workplaceDay-to-Day DutiesSupport the Shift Supervisor and Charge Hands with daily and ad hoc activitiesEnsure safe working practices and maintain high health 'safety standardsAssist with the movement of materials, goods, and WIP across production areasSupport Goods In and Despatch teams when requiredMaintain excellent housekeeping standards across all factory areasComplete weekly Service Hand log sheets covering: routine checks on cranes, forklifts, and MEWP equipment; cleaning, tidying, and waste removal; coolant changes; replenishing gas bottles, PPE, and sanitation supplies; organisation of lifting gear, COSHH materials, and plant/equipment relocation; supporting the maintenance team with painting, repairs, and facility upkeep; control of laydown areas, barriers, bollards, and signage; and preparing the facility for planned closures (e.g., Christmas shutdown)Manage key cabinets and maintain accurate work recordsEssential SkillsPrevious experience in a general maintenance, service, or industrial support roleStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Awareness of EHS requirements within an industrial settingAbility to record work accurately and maintain high housekeeping standardsLifting and slinging experienceGeneral maintenance and basic DIY skillsFull, clean UK driving licenceSelf-motivated, proactive, and approachable attitudeGood time management and ability to work independentlyFlexibility with working hours (within EU Working Time Directive)Desirable SkillsTrade background (mechanical, electrical, or similar)Overhead crane operation experienceFirst Aid or Fire Warden trainingForklift Truck / Counterbalance licenceIPAF qualification (Cherry Picker / Scissor Lift)Training ProvidedComprehensive on-the-job training across all processes and equipmentOpportunities to achieve additional certifications including Forklift, IPAF, First Aid, and Fire Warden qualificationsApply Today Don't Miss Out!
