Group Technical Compliance ManagerHome-Based £60,000 per annumAre you an experienced Technical or Quality professional with a deep understanding of food safety standards, customer compliance, and European legislation? We are seeking a highly skilled Group Technical Compliance Manager to join our client and lead the technical compliance agenda across their group.Role Overview:As Group Technical Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their operations not only meet but exceed the expectations of their major retail customers and regulatory bodies. This is a strategic role working across multiple sites and functions to implement a unified approach to compliance, audit, and quality improvement.Key Responsibilities:Interpreting and implementing customer technical requirements across all relevant functions.Designing and managing a robust self-audit system to assess and drive ongoing compliance and improvement.Reviewing and aligning internal policies and procedures with European standards to enhance efficiency and consistency.Acting a key technical contact for major retail customers, supporting customer-led initiatives.Ensuring compliance with all customer and legal requirements across group manufacturing sites.Monitoring and communicating changes in legislation and industry standards to ensure the business remains ahead of the curve.Advising and supporting on new product development, certifications, and new customer requirements.Conducting technical assessments across group manufacturing sites to identify opportunities for risk-based, efficient, and harmonised practices.We’re looking for a confident communicator and experienced technical leader who can influence across all levels of the business.Requirements:Degree in a Food Science or related discipline.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Technical or Quality Management role, ideally within a multi-site or group environment.Strong knowledge of BRC and other GFSI/non-GFSI certification standards.Solid understanding of UK and EU Food Law, labelling regulations, and compliance requirements.Proven experience with quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong technical relationships.This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a key leadership role, shaping the future of technical compliance across a growing group.
