Sensory Scientist- TrainingCampden BRI are at the forefront of innovation, science and technology that supports our members- the food & drink industries. With our Sensory Training Team we help to create winning products through applied sensory solutions, including Sensory testing services, innovation and insights, sensory training and testing services. Are you passionate about Sensory Science and keen to share your knowledge? This is the role for you! We’re looking for a Sensory Scientist to support our training delivery to industry and retailers in the UK and Europe.PositionTo deliver presentations on scheduled and tailored consumer and sensory training courses onsite or at client’s facilitiesTo provide course development and administrative support for projects, pre and post coursesTo support the development of course materials and associated presentationsTo support the Section Manager with identification and acquisition of new business opportunities for the sensory training section and services across the departmentProactively review current practices, policies and methods and suggest new and improved ways of workingTo assist in the organisation of seminars and conferences as opportunities ariseRequirementsSensory science experience within industryDegree or equivalent in a food science would be beneficial but not essentialKnowledge of BRC and its applicationsExcellent interpersonal skills Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPointFull driving licenceYou will be travelling once a week, normally for a 2 days session with an overnight stay.Benefits Hybrid workingReward platform with employee discounts and rewards25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysBuy and sell holiday schemeA generous work save pension scheme, with employee contributions matched by the company up to 10%Culture focus around work/life balance (early finish Fridays)Subsidised onsite restaurant£30,000-£35,000 pa dependent on experienceClick 'apply now' or send your CV to .
