Job Description Senior Estimator - Repairs & MaintenanceLocation: UK Nationwide (Remote)Salary: 90,000 + PackageThe OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK property services contractor for an experienced Senior Estimator - Repairs & Maintenance to join their commercial team. This is a fully remote, nationwide role offering a highly competitive salary of 90,000 plus package.This is a key strategic appointment, responsible for leading complex bid submissions across reactive maintenance, planned works, and refurbishment frameworks within the social housing and public sector markets.If you are a commercially astute estimating professional with a strong track record in winning R&M contracts and frameworks, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation during a period of sustained growth.The RoleAs Senior Estimator, you will:Lead the pricing of large-scale repairs & maintenance tenders (reactive, voids, disrepair, planned works)Manage full bid lifecycle from PQQ/ITT stage through to submissionInterpret client specifications, schedules of rates, and framework documentationDevelop robust cost models and pricing strategiesLiaise with operations, commercial and supply chain teams to build accurate submissionsManage risk and value engineering opportunitiesPresent and justify pricing internally and to clients where requiredSupport junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processesKey ResponsibilitiesDetailed build-up of labour, plant, materials, subcontract and overhead costsWork with NHF Schedule of Rates and bespoke client SORsAnalyse historic data and performance trends to inform pricingConduct site visits where necessary (occasional travel)Produce tender adjudication reportsEnsure submissions are commercially competitive while maintaining margin integrityContribute to bid strategy meetings and win themesCandidate RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Estimator within repairs & maintenance or social housingStrong knowledge of reactive maintenance, planned works and refurbishment frameworksExperience pricing large-scale public sector contracts (local authorities, housing associations)Proficient in Excel and estimating softwareStrong commercial awareness and risk management capabilityExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work autonomously in a remote environmentWhat's on Offer90,000 base salaryFully remote working (UK-based)Competitive benefits packageCareer progression within a growing national contractorExposure to high-value framework bids and strategic tendersIf you would like to discuss this opportunity in confidence, please get in touch to arrange a confidential conversation.ApplicationsIf you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more please apply online today attaching a copy of your current CV.
