Job Description The strategically important Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary of 30,000 - 36,000 DOE, company van, pension and opportunities for overtime and on-call earnings.If you're a qualified Electrician and are looking to work for an organisation that puts integrity and people at the forefront of everything it does, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Engineer roleReporting to the Head of Operations you will:Assist with planned inspections and maintenance in line with legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirementsSupport reactive maintenance activities including fault diagnosis and resolutionCarry out site surveys as requiredCompile accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders in a timely mannerMaintain detailed electrical testing records, High Voltage documentation and safety paperwork suitable for auditEnsure work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost and productivity targetsComply fully with company Health & Safety policies and proceduresProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th preferred)At least one year's maintenance experience within industrial, commercial or domestic environmentsFull UK driving licencePersonal skillsThe Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:Passionate about renewable technologies such as Solar PV and battery storageKeen to develop a long-term career within the renewables sectorComfortable working in a field-based role and travelling between sitesProactive, organised and safety-consciousSalary and benefits of the Field Service Engineer role30,000 - 36,000 DOEOvertime and on-call rota paymentsCompany van and tools provided25 days holiday plus bank holidaysExcellent opportunity to enter and grow within the renewable energy sector#LI-MS1 INDRENAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
