Key Responsibilities - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 tailored support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEN) to help them access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom. Implement strategies and interventions outlined in the child's education plan. Support the pupil's emotional, social, and academic development throughout the school day. Work in close collaboration with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals. Communicate effectively with parents/carers and contribute to progress reviews and reports. Background in SEN support (ASD, ADHD, speech & language, etc.) is highly desirable. A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
