Job Description Job Description:Are you an experienced SENCo keen for the next challenge within a supportive and inspiring school environment?An Academy in Gloucester, catering to year groups 7-11, are looking for a passionate SENCo to join their leadership team in overseeing SEND for the school.Job description:Leading and overseeing the school's SEND policySupporting staff with policy implementation and adaptive teachingBuilding relationships with parents and carersChairing annual reviews and preparing paperworkDaily rate: 160 - 200 per dayOption for 3 days per week, preferably 5 daysMid-April Start to end of academic year (4 month initial contract)Possibility of temp to permPerson specification:Experience working with SEND with knowledge of specialist areasHigh levels of organisationQTS and NASENCo (Desirable)Resilient and empathetic personaThis is a unique opportunity to join a well-established child-centred school.
