Planned Works Manager

Job DescriptionOur client, based in Gloucester, are currently recruiting for a Planned Works Manager on a permanent basis.The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the salary for the role is 52,755. The ideal candidate will have Knowledge of Building Surveying and Asset Management, Contract Management, Disrepair and HHSRS all within Social Housing.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Overseeing the successful delivery of allocated planned investment projects, from procurement of contractors through to project completionProviding technical advice, support and expertise to a teamManaging one-off specialist contracts, including large-scale adaptation works, legal disrepair, retrofit and decarbonisation worksSupporting the asset management on all contract and commercial issues and disputesAllocating budgets and completing budget profiling, ensuring expenditure is monitoredOverseeing CDM Compliance for the teamLine managing a team, including 1:1s and development appraisalsHandling tenant complaints relating to planned works programmes as necessary Experience required:Experience required in Social HousingExperience overseeing the delivery of all retrofit and decarbonisation worksSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Risk assessment and budgetsManagement of staffRewards and Benefits:Hybrid workingFlexible working daysWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
