Job Description Manufacturing Engineer Milling (5-Axis CNC)Tewkesbury, UK (Onsite) PermanentThe OpportunityOur client, isa global leader in precision engineering solutions for the aerospace sector, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialising in 5-axis milling to support their growing portfolio of aerospace programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performance machining environment, working on complex, high-value components for the global aerospace market.The RoleAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimising, and supporting advanced CNC milling processes, with a strong focus on 5-axis machining. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across production, quality, and design engineering to deliver robust, repeatable, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement CNC manufacturing processes for complex aerospace componentsCreate and optimise 5-axis milling programs (online and offline)Programme using Siemens NX CAD/CAMEnhance machining strategies for tight-tolerance, high-value componentsReduce cycle times while maintaining aerospace quality standardsLead process validation activities, including first article inspection and PPAP supportProvide technical support to machinists on the shop floorTroubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across milling operationsAbout YouProven experience as a CNC Manufacturing Engineer within aerospace or high-precision manufacturingStrong expertise in 5-axis milling operationsExperience with DMG Mori Seiki and Mazak machining centresStrong working knowledge of Fanuc control systemsAdvanced capability in Siemens NX CAD/CAM programming (online and offline)Experience machining complex aerospace alloys (e.g. titanium, Inconel, aluminium grades)Strong understanding of GD&T and aerospace quality standardsA proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to deliver practical solutionsWhats on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Private medical insurance and wellbeing supportGenerous pension contributions and life assuranceEmployee share schemeOnsite facilities including parking, EV charging, and gym accessClear opportunities for career development within a global organisationApply NowIf youre a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for precision 5-axis milling and want to be part of a world-class aerospace environment, wed like to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
