Job Description The Company:OXBO are partnered with a leading Renewable Energy business looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to their collaborative and social Glasgow team.As Senior Project Manager you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects from pre-construction through to handover to O&M.The Benefits:Annual 20% Bonus scheme.The chance to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline.Flexible Hybrid working.The Role:Manage overall delivery of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects.Take full responsibility for construction budgets, programmes, cash flow forecasting, and reporting at project and portfolio level.Manage all aspects of projects, including Construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards across sites.Lead relationships with EPCs, contractors and stakeholders.Proactively identify construction risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost.Monitor and report deviations to scope, schedule, or budget, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.Support tendering activities, including review of contractor designs, methodologies, and commercial proposals.Assist with contract negotiations and management.Provide technical and construction input throughout design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.What you will bring:Minimum of 7 years experience within the renewable energy industry, including project management within the development and delivery phases.Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.Experience in working with grid operators and managing the delivery of grid connections.Commercially astute, with experience managing contractors, variations, and riskConfident communicator with stakeholders and contractor management skills.Highly organised and detail oriented.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
